In the following commands:
- sudo tar xvfz cmake-2.8.4-Linux-i386.tar.gz
- cd cmake-2.8.4-Linux-i386
- sudo cp -R cmake-2.8.4-Linux-i386/* /usr/local
the 'cd cmake-2.8.4-Linux-i386' should be removed, as 'sudo cp -R cmake-2.8.4-Linux-i386/* /usr/local' only works if you're in the ~/ folder from the prior step.
